10th Annual Stony-Kiski-Conemaugh River Sojourn

      Open Houses and Grand Openings –   A new owner now occupies "The Stompin Ground"  Coffee Shop. A grand opening took place November 18th 2008. We welcom Terri Hanna Lanan to our Downtown.

"Twin Shearers" Beauty Salon is having a Grand Opening on April 22, 2009. Owned and operated by Sue Ann and Lou Ann Ferguson.  See Flyer above.

"Gorslene's Trim and Upholstery" located 2134 Rt 22 (Bonnarigo Building) has just opened for business. A grand opening is in the making. 

7th Annual Night of Comedy a Success

Blairsville Downtown Main Street Program's signature event,the 7th Annual Night of Comedy, was held February 28th, 2009 at the Chestnut Ridge Golf Resort and Conference Center. It was a crowd pleasing and successful fundraising event. A dinner buffet was enjoyed while being entertained by "Jazz in Your Face. Three Comedians followed, Lee Terbosic, a comedic magician, Auggie Cook and headliner Randy Lubas. The final entertainment for the evening was the band "Dakota Rose" The responses we received from several that attended this years event was, "This was the best yet!"

This year's Annual Golf Outing is set for June 11, 2009. Many sports celebrities are expected to attend the evening banquet as well as Jerry Sandusky who will be the key speaker.  Watch for more informatio!
